Bad case of inferiority complex
Jarod | September 2, 2006Last night on my way back home I had an … incident. I was on my bike, as usual, when such an everyday idiot overtook me in his brandnew convertible, speeding, tires screeching. So, I waved at him. You know, the aggressive kind of waving. I did not show him the finger – because that’s illegal in Germany and may have cost me.
Well he didn’t take it very well. He slammed on the brakes. He got out of the car and started shouting at me. “You showed me the finger you *explicit word*” bla bla. I just rode past him and continued down the road. He, back in his car, overtook me again. Then he cut me. Forced me to stop – almost. I just went on, circling him. Answered with all patience and calmness I could muster at the same time. He started up again, I rode up the sidewalk, ’cause I knew what was coming. He cut me again, tried to scare me, even drove up the sidewalk.
“I know what you look like!” bla bla bla and more threats like that. Then we came to a bigger street with more people around and suddenly he lost all interest in me. I didn’t get his license number, but next time I will. I could sue him and then some.
Man, I mean he was driving an Opel. He should be the one feeling embarrassed. Geesh. What a poor guy.
